I paid the $2 for the app and I’m happy with it. It stays out of the way, but is nicely visible. It works well, doesn’t crash, and doesn’t get in your way. FETURE REQUEST: Please-please-please allow me to have multiple clocks, each with different time zones. (I need to keep track of the time in multiple offices.)
Facilement paramétrable, consomme peu de ressources, discret, bref fait ce qu’on en attend sans mauvaise surprise. Easy to use, low in ressources, discrete, do what is needed in a friendly way and with no bad surprise.
It gives you 5 free clocks to choose from. The nicer ones are available only if you upgrade to the paid version. Apparently there’s ads in the free version which I will not be too happy about since I’m just looking for a simple clock! This isn’t something I want to see ads for on my computer. I will uninstall if I see an ad. Save ads for mobile, not desktop.
The Chronograph doesn’t work: specifically why I purchased this app in the first place. Also wont allow it to be moved around my desktop like it says it should be able to. Not happy!
A great desktop clock. Does what it should, no issues.
Excellent product. Works without bugs on El Capitan. I specially like the transparent clock floating on top of my documents.
Even the free version of this app is great. You can size it, choose from several designs and it runs in the background with no slag to your computers’ performance. I truly like it.
I rated this clock as "okay" because while I do enjoy having the bright and easily readable analog face up in the corner of my screen, I have two objections: 1) I wish I could reposition the face anywhere I choose -- not just one of the four corners; and 2) this "free" app -- which is how it was advertised to me -- now interrupts my day with increasing frequency, asking me to pay for it. I consider that bait-and-switch and a bit deceptive. Not a huge deal, but if those points were corrected, Id give it five stars.
I find this generally a successful iteration of our old friend the computer monitor clock. I like this one because you can choose from different clock faces, resize these as you like, adjust their opacity, and position them where you want on them on the fly. You can run it while you’re doing other things to keep an eye for when you have to dash off to an appointment and it happily serves as a screen saver. The twenty different clock faces (at least in the pay for version), range from the pathetically boring (think office clock) to the sort of neat (the “Swiss made" chronograph with fake fluorescent hands). Nice job!
Lesssee, the control panel, is bass-ackwards and makes little sense vis-à-vis setting scalability and stack priority. The clock actually disappears when it is moused over (???) Precious little design imagination went into the 16 differing analog faces. There is no sound, but I guess that is not a promised feature, though it IS a no-brainer. And yet it is still on its face, a clock. It can tell time.
Mostly the clock works as advertise and is certainly worth free. Only problem is I have a laptop which is sometimes hooked up to a second monitor and sometimes not, and that confuses the clock and it does not stay in one place but picks a new place on the desktop everytime I hook up the second monitor.
I really like the fact that I can have an analog clock on my desktop and I like that I can format it to different styles. It took me a little while to figure out how to move it to the other side of the screen but after that, I love it.
I’ve tried a few desktop analog clock apps and I like this one. The “disappear on mouse-over” is actually a neat feature: you can keep the clock on top of other windows and it helpfully gets out of the way when you need to click on or see something that’s behind it. As far as dual monitors, it seems to keep itself in the same place relative to the top left of the main monitor (the one where you put the menu bar). I keep it in the top left of my laptop screen and when I plug in an external monitor it moves to the top left of the external screen.
I’d been looking for so long. Love my semi-translucent clock. My Apple trainer found it for me online. Thanks for a great product.
Beautiful style and easily place anywhere on your desktop.
Eats too much battery while i’m offline
I liked his style and easy to use
Works as advertised, one of these days I will pay the full amount and get the rest of the clocks !
It worked great the first time I used it - I had it on the top of my third monitor. Once I rebooted it no longer shows up at all. It was great that once and I would gladly change my rating if it would work again.
