Desktop Clock Live App Reviews

Does just what I wanted.

I parked a simple analog clock (Style 3) on my second monitor. It’s always there and works great. I like that it fades away when the cursor goes over it, in case I want to get to what is underneath.

Non-customizeable

I live in Japan and wanted a desktop clock I could set to Denver time on my desktop since I already have a clock with local time in the top status bar. This clock automatically chooses the current time and won’t let you set it to the time you want it to. I emailed the software company and they promptly replied that this very issue would be fixed in the next update. That was months ago and nothing has changed.

Versatile and Effective

Easy to use and see. No fuss. Works as advertised.

Lack of Split Screen feature support

The app is really awesome, just like people say - it’s great to have an analog watch on your desktop but it seems like it doesn’t support the Split Screen mode. Meaning when I put two apps in this mode and they are both Full Screen I can’t see the watch app. I believe I know the reason why that’s the case but actually I bought the app to be able to see a watch when I work in the Split Screen mode :-) What an irony...

Great App, very useful.

Great App! Been using it for a few weeks. We have music practice at Church twice during the week and we have the sanctuary for a specific anount of time. So, I display the the clock to fill the screen and then push the video to the main projector so ALL of the participants will be able to see the clock! Love it.

It’s an ok app. Can be really good with some easy updates.

I was looking for a replacement for Geektool since I have been having some issues with it lately. What I really miss is an option for a digital clock with a user set font and options for Month/Day/Year. Hoping they will add this in an update.

very simple, very useful, thank you

every thing is perfect for a desk clock app. only 1thing, when cursor goes on the clock ,ok it’s going to be hidden, that’s very cool, but maybe better if could be more hidden specially for big size of the clock. I’m saying about the biggest size that occupy almost full of screen and cursor often cruise this area too. this is very cool,we can know the time with just a little moving cursor to corners and clock rise in real easy size. but shadow of clock when it’s hidden maybe cause disturbance to text reading. anyway thanks for this.

The annyoing pop up window

There was no pop up window promoting premium $1.99 in the previous version. Somehow the developer(s) decided to annoy people with a rip off request. Very disappointing. Aside from this, I like the app. It’s what I wanted.

Steer clear. There are far better apps for the price.

The actual clock skins look great, but that isn’t enough to make up for the fact that this app is really ONLY a skin. It only supports your current system time, not additional timezones, which means you have a pretty system clock right below the existing system clock that’s automatically on your system bar. Additionally, the $1.99 to remove pop-up ads was a deceptive promotion… THEIR advertising to remove their own pop-up is the only thing that ever popped up, but it sure kept doing it, every couple minutes, preventing me from working effectively until I clicked the purchase button out of fatigue.
